弟兄姊妹們平安：

神的道是我們生命路上的光。通過這夏天已 查的經文，希望大家不但是對聖經有更深的理解，同時在自己的生活上也有所啓示。

我們這周查的經文，約4：1-26，是訴說耶穌怎樣把福音傳給一位撒瑪利亞婦女。通過他們的對話，我們會再次看到耶穌是怎樣把恩典與真理帶 給他要拯救的人。這婦女天天到井邊去打水，爲要取得她生活所需的；耶穌知道她一切苦處，便把活水的泉源告訴了她，叫她可以 對屬世的需求永遠不渴。 這故事雖發生在2000多年以前，但他訴說的真理卻是給我們每一個人的，因爲 神知到我們所有的背景與需求。

不管你是否讀過這段經文，或來沒來過我們 以前的查經，你這次來對你生活都會有所光照。讓我們一起用心靈與誠實到他的面前來吧！

Dear brothers and sisters:

The word of God is the light that guides us on the path in life.  Through this summer’s bible study so far, hopefully everyone was able to apply the principles they learnt in addition to becoming more knowledgeable of the verses.

This week’s passage, John 4: 1-26, describes how Jesus spread the gospel to a Samaritan woman.  Through their conversation, we again see how Jesus brought grace and truth to those who he came to save.  This woman goes to draw water from a well day after day, so that she can satisfy her life’s needs; knowing all her hardships, Jesus revealed to her the source of the living water, which can quench all her worldly needs.  Even though this event took place over 2000 years ago, the truth that it reveals is for every one of us, because God knows all of our backgrounds and needs.

Regardless if you know this passage or have come to our previous bible studies or not, through studying these verses together, you will be more enlightened about how to lead a better life.  Let us come together before God in spirit and truth!
